TERMS OF SERVICE

Last updated: May 2025

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before purchasing from Letters to the Bride (letterstothebride.com). By completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms in full.

1. THE SERVICE

Letters to the Bride provides a digital letter collection service for weddings and similar events. Upon purchase, the purchaser (referred to as "you" or the "MOH") receives a private guest link and MOH dashboard. Guests use this link to write and submit personalised letters, assisted by AI writing tools. Letters are collected and accessible through the MOH dashboard until the specified deadline.

Letters to the Bride reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue features of the service at any time. We will endeavour to provide reasonable notice of significant changes where possible.

2. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase from Letters to the Bride. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. ACCOUNT ACCESS & YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

Your dashboard is accessed via a unique password delivered in your welcome email. You are solely responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Letters to the Bride accepts no liability for unauthorised access to your dashboard resulting from your password being shared, lost, or disclosed to a third party.

It is your responsibility to provide a valid, accessible email address at checkout. If your welcome email and dashboard credentials are not received due to an incorrect email address, spam filtering, or inbox issues, Letters to the Bride is not obligated to reissue access free of charge.

4. DIGITAL ACTIVATION & DELIVERY

Your guest link and MOH dashboard are activated automatically upon payment confirmation. At the point of activation, the digital service is considered delivered. Our Refund Policy applies from this point forward.

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that the digital service commences immediately upon activation and you consent to this immediate delivery.

5. GUEST LINK — PERMITTED USE

Your guest link is a private link intended to be shared only with known guests of the relevant event. You agree not to:

  • Publish the guest link publicly on social media, websites, forums, or any other public platform
  • Share the link with individuals unrelated to the event
  • Use the link for any purpose other than collecting personal letters for the named honouree

Letters to the Bride accepts no liability for content submitted via your guest link if the link has been shared outside its intended audience. You are responsible for how you distribute your guest link.

6. GUEST CONTENT & PROHIBITED SUBMISSIONS

By using the service, you and your guests agree that all submitted content must be:

  • Lawful under Australian law
  • Respectful and appropriate for a personal keepsake
  • Free from defamatory, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, or discriminatory material

Letters to the Bride reserves the right to remove any submitted content that, in our sole discretion, violates these requirements — without notice and without refund.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Letters to the Bride, its owners, and employees from any claim, loss, damage, or expense (including legal costs) arising from content submitted by you or your guests, including but not limited to claims of defamation, intellectual property infringement, or breach of privacy.

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & CONTENT LICENCE

All submitted guest letters remain the intellectual property of the individual who wrote them. By submitting a letter through the service, each guest grants Letters to the Bride a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of delivering the service to the purchaser.

Letters to the Bride will never share, publish, reproduce, or use guest letter content for marketing, research, or any other purpose without the explicit written consent of the purchaser and the relevant guest.

The Letters to the Bride platform, brand, design, and technology remain the sole intellectual property of Letters to the Bride. You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute any part of the platform without written permission.

8. AI WRITING ASSISTANT

Our AI writing assistant is provided as a tool to help guests find inspiration. All final content is reviewed and submitted by the guest themselves. Letters to the Bride makes no representations or warranties about the accuracy, appropriateness, or quality of AI-generated suggestions. We accept no liability for the content guests choose to write or submit, whether assisted by AI tools or otherwise.

9. PHYSICAL PRODUCTS — PRINTED LETTERS TIER

For the Printed Letters tier, physical letters are produced and dispatched only after you click "Submit for Printing" inside your MOH dashboard. Production does not begin automatically.

By submitting for printing, you confirm that you have reviewed all letters and are satisfied with the content. Letters to the Bride accepts no responsibility for errors, typos, or content issues in letters that have been submitted for printing and approved by the purchaser.

Delivery is via standard Australia Post tracked delivery. All delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Our Shipping Policy applies in full to all physical orders.

10. DEADLINE & EXPIRY

Your guest link closes at the deadline you specify at checkout or within your dashboard. It is your responsibility to set an appropriate deadline that allows sufficient time for guests to write, and for printing and delivery to occur before your event (where applicable).

Your dashboard and collected letters remain accessible for 30 days after your deadline expires. After this period, all data — including all guest letters — is permanently and irreversibly deleted. Letters to the Bride has no obligation to recover deleted data under any circumstances.

It is your sole responsibility to download, save, or print any letters you wish to retain before your data expiry date.

Deadline extensions may be available on request and are granted at Letters to the Bride's sole discretion. An extension is not guaranteed and does not constitute an entitlement.

11. PAYMENT & CHARGEBACKS

All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Payment is processed securely at checkout.

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card provider without first contacting Letters to the Bride to resolve the issue, we reserve the right to pursue recovery of the disputed amount and associated fees. We take fraudulent chargebacks seriously and will provide full transaction evidence to payment processors and financial institutions upon request.

12. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES & FORCE MAJEURE

Letters to the Bride relies on third-party infrastructure to deliver its service, including but not limited to cloud hosting, email delivery, payment processing, and AI services. We accept no liability for service interruptions, data loss, or delivery failures caused by third-party provider outages or failures.

Letters to the Bride accepts no liability for failure or delay in delivering the service where such failure or delay is caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, pandemics, power outages, cyberattacks, industrial action, or government-imposed restrictions.

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Letters to the Bride's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service — whether in contract, tort, or otherwise — is limited to the amount you paid for your order.

Letters to the Bride is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss or damage, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of enjoyment, emotional distress, or failure of the service to meet your expectations.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded by agreement.

14. AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Where a remedy is available under the Australian Consumer Law, our Refund Policy sets out how we will fulfil that obligation.

15. PRIVACY

Your personal information is collected and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at letterstothebride.com/policies/privacy-policy.

16. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

Letters to the Bride reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. The current version will always be published at letterstothebride.com/policies/terms-of-service. Continued use of the service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

17. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be severed from the remaining terms, which will continue in full force and effect.

18. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms of Service, together with our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Letters to the Bride in relation to the service and supersede all prior representations, discussions, or agreements.

19. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia for the resolution of any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the service.
